Great value set and as it comes in a mini suitcase rather than just a cardboard box it is suitable as a gift for a christening etc. I was pleased with my purchase and even though I had to pay postage costs to have it sent abroad it still worked out at a reasonable price. It looks classy.

|Be careful….,
We purchased this as a Christening gift for a 12 month old. We took the china out of the tin and let him have the metal case to play putting his toys in and out of it. Within 2 minutes the lid had broken off at the hinge,leaving a large piece of thick wire exposed. Really dangerous.
The china was lovely but please if you buy this don’t let children play with the metal carrying case, it’s not well made and has parts which are a danger.

|BATCH BROKEN???,
I feel unfair giving it only 1 star as the actual product is gorgeous and makes a wonderful gift – BUT I ordered it twice and BOTH sets had a broken plate. Amazon has said they suspect the batch is damaged and won’t replace it. They also said they would temporarily remove the item from their site to investigate – which it seems they haven’t. So just wanted to warn you!
